I have been talking to Sorenson, and it appears that there may be an issue between the codec I am encoding from (Techsmith lossless capture codec) and H.264. I'm looking into it. The 2 don't seem to always get along.
It's confusing becasue camtasia compresses directly from that format to H.264 MP4 with no issues, but the codec, admitedly, uses an odd compression scheme that techsmith has full control over.
So to be safe, I'll be compressing from from QT with Animation compression until the issue is resolved.
Sorry for any trouble. However, I just played it and it played through on my computer. I have no idea why it's causing you a problem. Granted I'm on windows.
Unfortunately, if I upload the same file, it's likely to have the same problem.
Your options are:
1) Play it through iTunes(?)
2) Play it on a different computer
3) Wait until friday when the full res version is available.
Sounded like it was going to be a great tutorial, unfortunately at about the moment when Aharon is about to go into detail Quicktime, Safari, whatever I'm playing it with crashes. Any way to get it re-uploaded?
